We have equipped glamping tents that take care of all the basics, including linen (no towels), your own braai, and fridge/freezer. If you don’t feel like camping or want to skip the offloading and cleaning of your camping kit but still want to enjoy the outdoors at Klein Tafelberg, you will enjoy a stay in our glamping tents.

Our glamping tents sleep 2 people.
Only 2 people per tent. We do allow +2 more if you bring your own tent or rent one from us. This will be pitched outside the glamping tent. No more than x2 extra people.

Glamping – Verreaux

Glamping accommodation combines rustic camping life with the comfort of real beds and comfortable mattresses. The bonus is that you can enjoy the outdoors without the effort of packing and setting up your camp. You will also sleep on real beds. Enjoy the convenience of our fully-kitted glamping tents.

Only 2 people per tent. We do allow +2 more if you bring your own tent or rent one from us. This will be pitched outside the glamping tent. No more than x2 extra people.

R980 per night (sleeps x2)
R780 per night for pensioners (rate only applies during weekdays and excl weekends)

There is parking for x2 vehicles right next to glamping tent. Access to the tents is limited to 4-wheel drive vehicles only.

Activities

The West Coast is known for its beautiful night skies and open space where you can unwind from your busy life and reconnect with nature. Klein Tafelberg is in the heart of the Sandveld and offers activities for the adventurous as well as those that want to take it easy.

Enjoy a hike on the mountain, bird watching (we have resident Verreaux eagles), stargazing, or simply some quiet time in front of the fire. We also offer activities that can be pre-arranged and booked with us directly; airsoft games, climbing our custom-built rock climbing wall, self-defense training, or challenge yourself and your vehicle on our very well-known 4x4 track.

We also have a developing rock climbing crag (trad and sport) for experienced rock climbers.
