Just arrive and relax. We have fully equipped chalets available that take care of all the basics, including linen (no towels), your own braai, fridge/freezer, and aircon. If you don’t feel like camping or want to skip the offloading and cleaning of your camping kit but still want to enjoy the outdoors at Klein Tafelberg, you will enjoy a stay in one of our chalets.

Our chalets sleep 4 people in two twin rooms. Additional guests up to x2 extra kids or x1 adult per chalet.

Our chalets offer comfort while you can still enjoy nature, our open skies and beautiful views. If you don’t feel like camping or want to skip making lists of what to pack, offloading, and cleaning your camping kit afterward, you will enjoy the convenience of a stay in our chalets. We have all the basics covered. Just arrive and relax in nature.

There is parking for x2 vehicles right next to each chalet. Access to the chalets is limited to 4-wheel drive vehicles only.

Activities

The West Coast is known for its beautiful night skies and open space where you can unwind from your busy life and reconnect with nature. Klein Tafelberg is in the heart of the Sandveld and offers activities for the adventurous as well as those that want to take it easy.

Enjoy a hike on the mountain, bird watching (we have resident Verraux eagles), stargazing, or simply some quiet time in front of the fire. We also offer activities that can be pre-arranged and booked with us directly; airsoft games, climbing our custom-built rock climbing wall, self-defense training, or challenge yourself and your vehicle on our very well-known 4x4 track.

We also have a developing rock climbing crag (trad and sport) for experienced rock climbers.
